Chepstow Racecourse Back the Dragons’ Big Breakfast

May 30, 2017

The Dragons of Newport Business Networking Group are expecting over 130 local companies and organisations to attend their next free Big Breakfast on June 7th in the Bisley Suite at Newport’s Rodney Parade.

102 companies have already registered online to attend the quarterly breakfast network event which is being sponsored by Chepstow Racecourse and will include a presentation from Rachel Jones, Chief Executive of Arts & Business Cymru.

Penny Jarman, business development manager for Cwmbran solicitors Rubin, Lewis O’Brien and a member of the Dragons of Newport is delighted with the response so far. She said, “Since we opened our online registration pages a couple of weeks ago, we have received a record number of bookings and expect more to enrol between now and June 7th.  The feedback we have received from previous Big Breakfasts is always positive and our event is now one of the ‘must attend’ networking dates in the area.”

Key to covering the costs of hosting the event, the Dragons offer local businesses a variety of advertising opportunities that start from just £25.

“Our Big Breakfasts have always been free to attend. That was a decision we made when we started hosting them a couple of years ago, explains Ami Jones, director of Aible and a member of the Dragons of Newport. “We are delighted that Chepstow Racecourse have agreed to be our headline sponsor. Our costs increase in line with the popularity of the Big Breakfast therefore we are still very keen to encourage other local businesses to get in touch to find out about our other advertising options.”
